PREMIUM project : Migration and Corruption (2015)

In this project we are specifically interested in how different diaspora groups in Europe interact with corruption both in the destination country and in their engagements with the origin country. We are particularly interested in investigating some specific aspects of this connection including but not limited to: corruption as an impediment to the development benefit of migration, corruption leading to a morality drain, corruption as a(dis) incentive to return or invest, the diffusion of norms and values around corruption or the continuing with the status-quo.
